NEWSROOM/FLASHBACK – As the Stanwich high school grew, so did student voice.  Although followed by opinion pieces and other news coverage revolving around imperfections, Student Government started with an election in 2012 and never looked back.

Every year students take a chance and put their names on a ballot, and if elected, do the best they can.  Sponsored by Mr. Dunn at the time (and Mr. Morgan Murphy now), student government grew to include the 6th grade and became a force for change in our school in 2019.

But it all started in the fall of 2012.

Victoria Slater (Class of 2015) filed this story.  She would later be named Editor-in-Chief of The Post.
