UPPER SCHOOL – Students met their newly elected government this week as Cullen Murphy (12), Dylan McCormick (11), and David-Jared Matthews (10) were announced as elected officers in Student Government in a year which promises change and opportunity.

Cullen’s presidency will surely be like none of her predecessors while David-Jared becomes the first elected sophomore officer in school history.  Dylan’s role as Vice President is also revised and three of the four high school grades are represented by an officer, another first.

Grade 9 will have to have a special election for a class representative, and other reforms may take shape over time to increase involvement.

Much of the 6th-12th student government has now been formed with meetings starting soon.  Mr. Morgan Murphy, Coordinator of Student Life will facilitate the meetings.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT 2018-19

Cullen Murphy, President

Dylan McCormick, Vice President

David-Jared Matthews, Secretary of Treasury

Grade 9: TBD

The Representatives from the middle school grades are:

6th: Hannah Hochman & Keira Frascella

7th: William Bennett & Maia Somma

8th: Charlotte Richard & Alexander Raezer
